Ski resort Hochrindl
Hochrindl, known as a family-friendly ski resort, is snow-secure at an altitude of 1,600 m in the Nockberge.
The Hochrindl ski area consists of 20 kilometres of slopes and offers a beautiful view over a large part of Carinthia. Nine slopes, from easy to difficult, guarantee skiing fun for everyone. Cozy huts, for a relaxed après-ski experience, form the basis for a feel-good vacation in our region.
Skiing fun starts right from the large parking lot. The ski school is also located here. Most ski courses start here because the slope is ideal for beginners and popular with children. In addition, children up to 6 years can use the elevators for FREE!

Ski areas
Nockalm Lodge is centrally located for sports enthusiasts.
In a radius of 30km there are 4 attractive ski areas to be found, with slopes for every level.
These ski areas are: Hochrindl, Turracher Höhe, Bad Kleinkirchheim, Falkert and Gerlitzen.

Ski School
Children or adults, beginners or advanced skiers, in a group or privately, the Hochrindl ski school has the ideal offer for everyone. This ski school also offers the possibility of renting ski equipment.
Cross-country skiing in Hochrindl
Hochrindl is one of the popular cross-country skiing areas in Carinthia. On the unique panoramic trail between 1550 - 1750 meters above sea level, you can enjoy the view of the magical snow-covered alpine meadows.
For both the beginner and the more experienced lover there are well prepared trails.
Winter hiking
Hochrindl can also be experienced from its beautiful and peaceful side by foot, in winter. Various winter hiking trails lead through the snowy landscape of the Nockberge.
Past glistening snow surfaces and through deeply snow-covered forests, the marked trails are easily accessible to all. Be sure to keep an eye out for wildlife!
Alpine huts and inns are open and spoil tired hikers with down-to-earth and typically Carinthian "Schmankalan".
Tobogganing in Hochrindl
No winter fun without a toboggan ride. There are three tracks in Hochrindl, where both children and adults can glide down to the valley. The ride to the Stoicharthütte is also illuminated in the evening.
Stopping at an alpine hut to talk about this fantastic experience is an absolute must!
Tour skiing
The 2000'ers of the Nockberge is a popular destination for an enjoyable ski tour, especially in winter.
Hochrindl offers ski touring tours at altitudes between 1,400 and 2,400 meters. The rounded peaks of the Nockberge are literally ideal for alternative ski alpinism.
Sleigh ride
Enjoy pure romance or a cosy family excursion! What can be more beautiful than a horse-drawn sleigh ride through snowy forests?
Wrapped in a thick blanket, crawl comfortably into the carriage and let yourself be pulled through the magical winter landscape of Hochrindl.
The spa
The Römerbad is one of the most beautiful alpine wellness temples in Europe. In the 12,000 square meter thermal spa, you will experience first-class wellness on three levels. In addition to the thermal baths, visitors can look forward to a magnificent sauna landscape, wellness, beauty, massage offers and much more.
Just two kilometers away, in the center, are the thermal baths of St. Kathrein.

Toboggan run in Turracher Höhe
The alpine roller coaster "Nocky Flitzer" is a hit for young and old: a toboggan run, 1.6km long, where you spectacularly and safely whizz down into the valley, in both winter and summer.
You start from the mountain station Panoramabahn (2,000 meters altitude) and slide down the Nocky Flitzer (1,763 meters).

Rollercoaster feeling with the best view of Bad Kleinkirchheim
The Kaiserburg Bob is open in summer and winter and provides fun for the whole family.
The two-seater bobsled winds up and down through 26 bends over a length of 1.4 km.
Children between 4 to 10 must be accompanied by someone from at least 15 years old.
Children older than 10 and with a height of 1.30 m may ride alone in the bob.
